|WARFARE PART 3
1 Chr 16:11
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Eph 6:18-19 KJV
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication [interceding] for all saints; And [pray] for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
We are called to pray for each other making time to be in the presence of the Lord! Throughout our day we should be in an attitude of prayer. When we see people do things that we don't like, instead of gossiping and being critical, we need to take them to the Lord in prayer.
Another vital part of warfare is the person called to travail, not to be confused with intercession.
A child of God will begin to feel a grieving, and a pain deep within their spirit will grow in intensity. As they begin to pray in the spirit the pain mounts and becomes over powering. Words stop! Groans, sobs and even a yell may escape from the tortured lips, as pain consumes their body and spirit. This pain is indeed as the pain of childbirth.
The Holy Ghost is moving through this individual; in such a way as to cause her or him to literally feel the deep spiritual pain and torment of another person. This type of prayer is what births new Christians into the kingdom of God! The Holy Ghost and this person praying are in partnership, having come together as one. It's a beautiful experience, painful yet well worth it. When the travail lifts, we are left in perfect peace.
If you are with someone in travail quietly pray in the spirit. It's better not to touch them, you don't want to distract what the Lord is doing, breaking the Spirit. Praying with this person will lighten the load, so please join in and pray. There are times when you may sense the grieving of the Holy Ghost, give yourself over to Him and enter into a partnership with God!
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities [weakness]: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings [too deep] which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit [what His intent is], because he maketh intercession [pleads before God] for the saints according to the will of God.
Now it's time to get dressed!
Please study and pray over the next few verses..
Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might [empowered through your union with him]. Put on the whole armour [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies] of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles [deceits] of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all [the crises demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Stand therefore [hold your ground], having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of [of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God] righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation [to face the enemy with firm -footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance [interceding in behalf of all the saints] and supplication for all saints;
We must put this armor on and keep it on at all times! True spiritual power comes from wearing this armor. This is God's army; we must surrender to His rules or we lose the fight and become another casualty.
WE HAVE DISCUSSED:
FASTING [part 1] LAYING ON HANDS [part 2]
PRAYER [part 1a] THE ENEMY [part 2]
POWER [part 1a] BINDING/LOOSING [part 2a]
PRAISE [part 1a] UNDER ATTACK? [part 2a]
LOVE [part 1a-2] INTERCEDE/TRAVAIL [part 2a-3]
HERE'S A SHORT RECAP:
We must prepare for the battle by fasting; this gives the Spirit of God a prominent voice in our life. As we bring our flesh into submission; God's Spirit will increase within us!
We are to approach prayer with the knowledge, that God hears as well as answers our prayers. We know we are to pray the answer not the problem, using scripture as it applies, thanking Him in advance. We may address demons directly ordering them to leave our loved ones alone, in the name of Jesus. We know to ask our Father to cover difficult situations with the Blood of Jesus. Praise God!
Power is given to each of us, at the time we are filled with the Holy Ghost. But the authority to use this power comes with obedience, knowing and submitting to the Word of God.
God inhabits our praises which is the power of God! As we walk in praise and live a life of worship, the more power we walk in.
LOVE (1 Cor 13:4-8)
Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily, it is not conceited [arrogant and inflated with pride]; it is not rude [unmannerly] and does not act unbecomingly. Love [God's love in us] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [pays no attention to a suffered wrong
It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].

LOVE IS THE BEGINNING OF WARFARE
LAYING ON OF HANDS:
The glory of God will pass from our hands, into another person to minister as God directs. We need to pray asking the Lord to use our hands to heal and to impart His glory to those in need. He will use us to minister to the unsaved as well as the saved.
