Unconditional    part  3
No one born [begotten] of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [his principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born [begotten] of God.  By this it is made clear who take their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and are his children; no one who does not practice righteousness [who does not conform to God's will in purpose, thought and action] is of God; neither is anyone who does not love his brother [his fellow believer in Christ].    1 John 3:9-10

This previous scripture makes it abundantly clear that it's deliberate sin that is the issue here. We are not bound to sin; to say we will sin every day is not the truth. But, we will stumble and sin from time to time. The mark of a saved person is true repentance. It breaks our heart to sin and displease our Father.

When deliberate sin is a life style, then we must go back to the cross making sure we are truly born again. I am not speaking of the spiritually oppressed person that desperately wants to break a pattern of sin. For this may require a mature Christian knowledge- able in spiritual warfare, to break this hold on the defeated child of God.  The LORD knows our heart and He will not be fooled nor mocked!

Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourself to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness [right doing and right standing with God]?  But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed. And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteous [of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action]          Rom 6:16-18.

Again, this word DEATH is speaking of spiritual death.  Does all this really mean that if we were walking in the will of God then turned from Him and became a part of the world again that we wouldn't go the Heaven?

Do you know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived [misled]; neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality, nor cheats [swindlers and thieves], nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the Kingdom of God. And  such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean [purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin], and you were consecrated [set apart, hallowed], and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of God.  1 Cor 6:9-10

Another also said, I will follow you, Lord, and become your disciple and side with your party; but let me first say good-bye to those at my home. Jesus said to him, no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the Kingdom of God.   Lk 9:61-62

The above scripture is referring to looking back with desire and longing for the things of the past. When we commit our lives to the Lord, we are to look to Him and not to long for the life and sins of the past.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through [the full, personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again become entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition is worse [for them] then the first. For never to have obtained a [full, personal] knowledge of the way of righteousness would have been better for them than, having obtained [such knowledge] to turn back from the Holy Commandment, which was [verbally] delivered to them.  There has befallen them the thing spoken of in the true proverb. The dog turns back to his own vomit, and, the sow is washed only to wallow again in the mire .  2 Peter 2:20-22

This scripture clearly states that once a person is washed clean in the Blood of Jesus Christ, then turns back to his old life style of sin, he is no longer clean! Therefore he is lost!  His heart is made harder making it more difficult for him to return to the Lord again.

But the just shall live by faith [my righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him.  But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery [perdition] and are utterly destroyed. But we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.   Heb 10:38-39

Perdition means  "eternal damnation".

These scriptures speak for themselves very clearly. The doctrine of "once Saved Always Saved No Matter What the Life Style", is HERESY.

The meaning of the word HERESY is an opinion dividing the church derived by our own thinking, our own desires.  Having a large number of folks accepting a false teaching doesn't make it true. We cannot make a doctrine out of one or two scriptures, and this is too important not to search it out for ourselves with an open mind for the truth! We have now done that, so what do we do now?

Do we choose to close our ears and eyes, putting our heads in the sand and refusing to accept the obvious? Our very souls depend on our accepting God's Word as truth.

Many people are being led astray with this teaching. Countless numbers of souls have been sent to hell, because of the sin in their lives while they were convinced they were saved! The most difficult group of folks to minister to is those under this doctrine. We cannot be in sin and have the assurance of salvation at the same time!

I urge anyone caught up in this life of sin to cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ now! Ask  Him to forgive you, and to wash you clean in His precious Blood. Ask Him to teach you how to make Him Lord of your life.

We must be prepared to speak out against teachings that are false. If we love the Lord then we must love others as well.  If we love others then we must speak out against that which could send them to Hell, even at the risk of losing friends. We don't want their blood on our hands read   Ez 2 & 3.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because t
hou hast rejected knowledge, I will reject thee. That thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.   Hosea 4:6

The Lord Jesus Christ loves each one of us too much to let us destroy our souls without trying to show us what we are doing wrong. This is too serious to be close minded, He is coming soon for His blood washed church, and the clock is ticking.
