RUSSIAN TEA
Hot Drink .. I really like this ..Carol

1 Jar (1 lb.2 oz) Tang Instant Breakfast Drink
1 cups sugar
cup instant tea
1 tsp cinnamon
tsp ground cloves
Dash salt
Boiling water

Combine all dry ingredients.   Makes 4 cups dry mix or enough for 12 qts of tea.

For 1 serving:  place 1 well-rounded tsp mix in a cup of boiling water, stir until dissolved

For 1 qt (6 servings):  dissolve 1/3 c mix in qt boiling water. 

Serve with lemon wedge if desired.

CHUTNEY (SAUCE)

This is great with ham..Carol

1 can apricots
1 can sliced peaches
1 can sliced pears
1 can chunk pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling

Drain fruit in colander.  Add cherry filling.  Mix well and simmer about 5 min to blend flavors.

SURPRISE SPREAD

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream or yogourt
1/4 cup mayonaise
can of shrimp
1 cup sea food cocktail sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
green pepper chopped
3 green onion tops chopped
1 tomatoe diced

Mix first 3 ingredients and spread on bottom of plate for base, then layer the rest with mozzarella cheese on top.
can be used to put on crackers or put inside mini pitta

REESES PIECES

2 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1 cup margarine, melted
1 cup peanut butter
2 1/2 cups icing sugar
12 oz pkg chocolate chips or more.

Mix first 4 ingredientstogether; press into a 9x13 inch pan. Melt chocolate chips together with a bit of butter, then pour on top of your peanut butter base, spread. Place in fridge to set and cool, but cut into squares before it gets too hard. (these are good) can be frozen for a later time.

MOM'S PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

2 cups gran. Sugar
1 cup Evap Milk [NOT condensed milk]
3 tbl Butter
1 cup small Marshmallows
1 1/2 cup chunky Peanut Butter
1 tsp Vanilla 

Combine  sugar, butter & canned milk in a large skillet.  Bring to a boil & boil for 5 minutes, stir constantly.  Turn off, add marshmallows, peanut butter, & vanilla.  Stir till melted.  Pour into a buttered pan, chill.

CRANBERRY  SAUCE
this is very good...Carol

2 cups fresh Cranberries
cup Orange juice
little Orange zest 
tsp each ground Ginger & Cinnamon
1 cup gran Sugar

Mix,  Cover,  Simmer.

NO WATER ADDED

EASY  CARAMEL  CORN

8 cups air popped popcorn
1 pkg (14oz) caramels (about 48) Kraft is best
2 tbls water
2 tbls butter

Microwave in glass bowl all but popcorn on high for 2 to 2    minutes, until caramel mixture is melted, stir frequently.  Pour over popcorn & toss to coat well.  If you want ball or on a stick, let cool 5 min. then with slightly damp hands shape into a ball or around stick.

FAST KETTLE  CORN

With air popped popcorn, coat with margarine or spray.. toss with   cup of sugar and tsp cinnamon.

AUNT  FRITZ'S  FUDGE
she made this up and it's good..Carol

3 cups sugar
3 sq (blocks) cocoa
or 9 tbl + 3 tbl oil
3/4 cup milk

cook until soft ball stage (240)
add:  1 tbl butter

set pan in cold water to cool..
add:  1 tsp vanilla..

beat til thick & it begins to loose the shine.. put in buttered pan

GREAT  CARAMEL  CORN  
this is super good..Carol

2 cups brown sugar packed
1/2 cup karo clear syrup
1 cup real butter .. don't scrimp here

make a syrup.. bring to boil.. boil 5 min.
remove from heat
add:
pinch of salt
1/2 baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tarter

pour over 5 quarts air popped popcorn be sure to
remove unpopped kernels .. mix well.. bake 1 hour at 200 stir occasionally

add nuts if desired.. so good.. yummy

SWEETENED  CONDENSED  MILK

1/2 cup warm water
1 cup + 2 tbl powder milk
3/4 cup sugar

put in a blender .. blend til dissolved.. let stand in refrig overnight..
