Dians Dream

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

DIAN'S DREAM

The day after sending out the account of the dream the LORD had given me this past week of Dec 10, 2002 “Get Thee Up”, my friend Dian sent me an email about the dream the Lord had given her about a week before.

She has given me permission to add it to this site. I wanted you all to see it and marvel at how similar they both are. The LORD's message to His Children is very urgent and not to be taken lightly..

My comments will be in this white print, while her account is in light pink.

I dreamed we were all in a city or town which looked as though it had been bombed out or something. No structure was whole, it was all crumbling.

Many of us have had dreams of a coming judgment on our land..

1 Pet 4:17-18
For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God? And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the godless and wicked?

The room my "group" was in was mostly whole, the best of all the buildings but still not in tact totally.

I see this as the state of the Christians.. mostly whole but not completely as we should be..

We were dressed with rag tag clothing like in the movie water world. The city or town was small, like a remnant, our clothes were really old and battered, and somehow I was in charge of this place and the people or family there.

The clothes keep going through my mind.. are we leaning on our past achievements? What are we doing now for the family of God? These folks seem to be worn out.. tired of working .. our clothing is the fresh cloak of righteousness and it is bright and clean.. are we not standing strong in the LORD? Daily prayer, reading the Word in depth and worship as well as obedience keep us in spiritual shape... dressed in fine garments of praise and power.. as in the wearing the full armor of God (Eph 6) with out this we are powerless.

2 Thess 3:13
But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good.

What of this small group? My dream too was a small group..

Rom 9:27
Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, "THOUGH THE NUMBER OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL BE LIKE THE SAND OF THE SEA, IT IS THE REMNANT THAT WILL BE SAVED;

Rom 11:5
In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice

Matt 7:13-14
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

I was in charge of getting them food and keeping them safe.

This may be speaking of the leaders in the Church, as Children of God are we feeding His Lambs and Sheep? We all need to be encouragers of each other, quick to share what we have learned.. are we? Are we careful of teaching the pure Word of God? Or are we being taken in by this feel good ego centered doctrine flooding the churches today?

Everyone needs to be able to explain why they are saved.. and to study the Word..

John 21:15
So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus *said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?" He *said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He *said to him, "Tend My lambs."

John 21:16
He *said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" He *said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He *said to him, "Shepherd My sheep."

John 21:17
He *said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus *said to him, "Tend My sheep.

A bunch of people were trying to get in (because they wanted our food and shelter) by saying they were Christians (we were all Christians in the town) I would have the authority to tell them to leave if they were not Christian but I would first try to have them accept the Lord as Savior.

Are we walking close enough to the Lord to hear the voice of God? Are we able to know the difference between the truth and the false? Do we know to rebuke the enemy? Are we standing in the power of the Holy Spirit?

We need to be aware of whom we're dealing with.. this also reminds me of the Lord talking about Heaven .. many will try to enter in but only those walking in Him will be admitted..

Matt 7:15-16
Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

Matt 7:19-21
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

Do you notice they are trying to minister salvation to these outsiders? When was the last time we stepped out in the leading of the LORD?

Some gladly accepted the Lord, others did not and those were the ones that frequently tried to attack us.

This is another warning.. we are not to trust blindly but to seek the discerning of the Lord in all things. We as a church body are going to be under more attack then we have been.. are we ready to stand in it or will be we destroyed? We need to dig in tighter to His side in order to with-stand the attacks of the evil one..

1 Pet 5:8
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

1 Pet 5:9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset--rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.

1 Pet 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.

Some lied and said they accepted the Lord and attacked us from within. When I found this out, and the danger presenting to my "flock or family" I started to raise up my hand to the evil ones and say the words "in Jesus name I command you to leave.... go back from whence you came" and then speak in tongues loudly but I couldn't speak as loudly as I wanted, the power wasn't all there, it seemed diluted,

Some lied.. There is a strong spirit of deception loosed on the land today and this will kill our soul if we buy into it.. the only way to be protected is to know the word.

Why was there no power? Do we walk in the power and anointing of God? Are our prayers answered? Are folks healed and delivered? If not why not? Where is the full armor of God (Eph 6)? Where is the deep praise and worship?

But the more I called out Jesus name the louder I was able to yell at the demonic forces and the speaking in tongues got louder too and I woke myself yelling at the top of my lungs in tongues.

The more she spoke the name of Jesus and didn't give up, the more power she got.. the speaking in tongues in indicative of walking in His power and anointing and is for all of us. the yelling is symbolic of power.. The speaking in tongues was pointing us to her being refilled in His Spirit and acting upon it.. we need renewing each day.

But wait there is more, Dian goes on to say:

I think it is kind of great that two people, living so far away (she lives in California & I live in Arkansas), could have such similar dreams. Funny though, I thought "aren't the men supposed to dream dreams and see visions?" and then the answer came...."are the men really devoted to me? Are they giving their lives to me wholly? Some of my women are, and it is them I use."

I pray this dream is taken very seriously by all that read this .. the warning is clear.. the time is now.

He wants to talk to each of us, and place an unquenchable thirst in our breast for more of Him.. but we need to want this too.

My prayer is for each of us and those you send this too, to see the call of a loving Father to His children trying to wake them out of the stupor so many are in. The call is clear..
